Bad brake caliper??
'90 vert with 71K miles. When I press down on the brade pedal, I get a very noticable noise from the rear driver's side brake assembly when the car is stationary or moving. The pads are fine and I lubed the edges of the pads and removed all of the rust I could and reassembled. The noise was unchanged and appears to be coming from the brake caliper. When I removed the brade pads, the end of the caliper cylinder seemed to have more play in it than I would have expected. Is my brake caliper toast? Replace one or do I have to replace both of the rear calipers? Thanks

are you sure it isn't the ABS pump, it is located in the compartment right behind the drivers seat.
if you open this compartment, and pull out the bucket and the piece of insulation, and try to replicate the conditions for the sound, it will be noticeably louder.
