New heads?
My car won't be finished till next week and thats if everything goes smoothly. Im still :confused: on what to do to my car till then. The stock heads have been redone but I want new cause I want a 400ish horse power motor when im going into college. I have 850 to send right now myself and both my parents can chip in some. How much can I expect from selling the heads? What are real good heads but not huglely exspensive? Shoud I look at getting a Lingenfelter cam too? My motor right now is a ZZ4 short block with stock parts on top. Oh, and is it that the lower the degrees for heads, the better it flows? I've seen 14 degree heads for a SBC but they cost 4 250 :eek:!!

Your stock heads flow to about 350 hp and pocket ported, valves, etc will flow to over 400 hp.
Why look for another set of heads, but if you do let me know how much it will take to get your stock 113 heads. I found a set a Carlisle for $600 but that'w too steep. I'll give $400 for a good set.
