Cam suggestion
What would you suggest for a 89 vette to give it little more pep. Like to keep decent mileage, but want little more kick when i get into it. What about memcal/chip reprogram. Will it be needed. I heard speed density is very limited.
Any links/suggestions on where to get reprogram if needed
Engine is a 260hp GM crate engine with speed density TPI if that matters.

89 is MAF, not speed density. But since you say it has SD then yes it doesnt respond to minor mods easily by itself and definitely wont respond as well to a cam change. I usually recommend to change the chip anytime youre done with mods or have changed the cam.
But the real question is what kind of gain do you want, I assume you want to keep the stock intake on it and leave everything else alone?
