Here is the very first thing that you should do:

1) Go to the top of this section (the C4 Tech/performance section)

2) Go to the stickies that are posted there

3) Read the first one.

Put some flowmaster 50 series, 3 chamber mufflers on. Only cost me $240 bucks. Get a guy that does custom exhausts if you want the same stock look and get him to cut the stock pipes about 2" so the new exhaust won't stick out past the rear bumper. Then get him to weld the stock LT1 tips on the flowmasters. Great sound, stock look. Added HP is debatable on this forum, but the mean sound is well worth it. Take off the restrictive stock air filter cover and use the open air filter frame that can be purchased via Ecklers, use a K&N air filter with this set-up. Cheap add-on, little more air flow, HP gains once again are debatable, but every little bit helps.

You could add capital letters, commas, apostophries, reduce run-on sentences, and spell "wat" ==> "what"

I had to read your post 3 or 4 times before I could figure out what you were saying!!

Computer shorthand won't work in this forum, sorry.....

Punctuation and (at least) passable grammar are your friends. You'll find more folks willing to help if you don't make it so much work to read and comprehend your posts.

It all depends what you are looking for...

Exhaust- No resonance, resonance isnt an issue...all depends what you want. No resonance spend the money and get Corsa. A little resonance go with Borla...or for good 3" exhaust go with Billy Boat.

Headers- This will eat your pocket for an LT1/4 but are well worth it. The different brands are TPIS, Exotic Muscle, Stainless Works, Melrose. All depends if you want stainless, 1 5/8, 1 3/4. Your call on that.

If you go past that get the LT4 Hot Cam kit. Not just a bolt on thing but it will give you the 1.6 RR, Cam, and some other stuff. Not really sure since I already have an LT4...i just got the cam installed it this past weekend and love it. Just what I was looking for as a daily driver. Really cant beat the package. You can find it on Summit.

Porting your intake is easy. If you have dremel you can do that on your own...I did and wasnt hard at all. www.hashmarks.com/techtips explains all that.

Get a 52+ mm throttle body if you change cam and long tubes and eventually down the road want to do heads.

Chips wise....nothing really ever makes a difference. Just go with a good tune. We have some good tuners on this site that will custom make a tune for your specific set-up without breaking your wallet.

Thats all I can think of right now.
