I have an 86 vette that I replaced the alternator on the other day. When I did so unbeknown to me there was a white wire just hanging there. I didn't know where it went and assumed it belonged on the positive side of the alternator. The next day I came out and the battery was dead. So, this morninbg I returned the formerly new battery and bought a die hard. Car started right up so I decided to check and see what was going on. It appears that the white wire I hooked up was causing a constant draw on the battery and therefore, killed it.
Can anyone tell me where this wire connects (pic enclosed). It appears 1 wire is connected to a red, one to a yellow and the other is beyond me.
