Code 43 ESC error
Since replacing my Optispark and water pump, I've been getting Service Engine Soon light. I can cause the error by tromping it in 2nd gear so I'm pretty sure it's pinging. I also put on a set of Radom Tech high flow cats at the same time as replacing the Opti and water pump. My tester shows a code 43, Electronic Spark Control error, indicating needed timing adjustment. Anyone know exactly what's required to correct this? I can't get hold of my shop til Tuesday and am curious as to what I'm up against. Thanks for any help, things like this make me nuts!

I'm in a similar boat. This car runs PERFECTLY except at WOT or near it. At that area in the powerband it misses like mad.
I don't know much about the LT-1's...but I can relate to how you feel. Someone with knowledge will chime in... If not...give the guys at LPE a hollar. Actually, speak to Graham Behan.. He knows His Stuff.
