Ok I went to the store the other day and everything was fine. Done shopping tried to start the car and she wouldn't turn over. Tried turning the key again and still it wouldnt turn over. After about 10 minutes tried to turn the key and she started right up. Any ideas why this is happening to me? My car is a 94 6spd 92,000 miles. Thanks for your help.

I have had the exact same experience with a bad starter solenoid before.
It's intermittent so a pain. But when it does it again,
Listen very carefully. If you hear the starter click (actually the solenoid), but doesn't turn over (crank) then it's likely the solenoid. The solenoid is integral with the starter so replace both. Did mine last year (87,000 Miles) and it cost about $100 for an Advanced Auto rebuild. The passenger side cat is in the way but by using a 1/4" drive extension the outboard bolt is accessible without bending the cat heat shield too much. Be sure and disconnect the battery first. The leads to the starter are much easier to remove if you unbolt the starter first and move it forward a little.
If you hear no click when the key is turned to start, it's likely the VATS system. The pellet in the key must be read at the correct resistance or the computer will inhibit the 12v to the solenoid. Try three times (as I recall) and the computer will totally inhibit the solenoid for about 7 minutes. My '95 did this a couple of years ago and the clue was no click but did start after about 10 minutes of no trying. Cleaned the key with a rag and cleaned the ignition with a foam earplug being careful to not push it in too far and get it stuck. Couple of weeks later it did it again. Cleaned the ignition immediately and it started right up. Been good since (knock on wood).
There are lots of threads on VATS, bypassing it, its virtues and shortcomings and you can find them with the search function.
My experiences are above and I hope they help.
