But you do see what i mean. Then you almost have a bullet trans.

I was going to go with the th400 or 4l80 but though it was to much money $6100 through raptor trans.
I have gone through 3 ,700r4 transes and 2 built reverse valve body
700r's on my 86.
Cost of 700r4 built to the max $3235.95 8" converter,hardened shaft and so on.
Blew it up after about 10 runs,new bill $443.95.
The shipping is at a all time high.

Shift kit trans go in my 4L60E and Vig converter 3200 ,still kicking.
The 700r4 will not hold once you get about about 550 hp.
I am at a little over 700 hp you work the numbers.
The stall I have been using on the 86 is 3500 Daco.Not good for the street,but neither is the motor .
The 94 4L60E the 60 foot is 1.90 to 2.10 with drag radials.
The 86 700r4 is 1.48 to 1.55 60' MT Et streets.

I paid 2900 for the rapture 4l80e trans and 1150 for the controller for my 93. To me this was money well spent. This is some trans.

Its very easy fixed mate, and for the money and trouble you seem to be going to here it would be a good idea to swap it now before it breaks...

You should start looking to get one from where ever you can, it wont be that hard to get a hold of one.
