I need to know how to remove the vertical trim panel around the radio, and climate control. (93 6speed convertible)
I see 2 phillips screws holding the vent assembly above this trim panel. Do I loosen these, and take the vent out, and then are there more screws below the vent that I take out to remove the trim panel?
I have already removed(loosened) the horizontal trim panel around the shifter, and ashtray/ cup holder assembly.
Re: Trim Panel around radio, how do you remove it? (dizwiz)
it's been quite awhile since i removed the one in my '94, but i'm pretty sure you do have to remove the air vent..
you also need to remove the piece around the shifter first i think..

Yes, remove the air vent. You must also remove the cover around the shifter. At least move it out of the way where you can get to the screws at the bottom of the radio cover. If I remember right, there are two screws at the bottom, and one behind the air vent.
