I have had the same problems. it's always the balancing.
No one knows how to balance a F-in tire. It's rediculous.

Even if you find a hunter machine, the guy has to want to take the time to do it right, and match the tire to the rim. and once he does that, I find it's good for 6 months, and needs to be done again.

I'm at the point where I'm ready to buy my own Hunter machine !!!!

I had a similar problem with my '88, turned out to be the passenger side hubs were toast. Replaced them and all was fine.

I'm currently having the same problem too at 60. Check your front Tie Rod Ends.

Have they removed the tire from the wheel? The previous owner might have sprayed a can of that Fix-O-Flat emergency tire inflater in the tire.

I've seen that stuff seperate from the leak, resulting in wheel imbalance condition like you're describing.

Remember, tires will burn if you get them hot enough and that Fix-o-Flat stuff can explode, injuring or killing the guy pulling the tire.

what brand (manufacturer) ??

if your suspension is tight and you are attentive , you will find some vibration from any for the first 5 miles due to ''flat-spotting'' which occurs while parked...depending on brand, temps, surface, etc. flat-spotting may develope in as little as 10 minutes, but normally happens 24 hrs or more (not to be confused with flat spotting that occurs due to wear)

worn tie rod outer ends are a common problem at highway speeds.
