i havent had a chance to replace the u joints, but i did get my tires balnced by the hunter machine and it helped it out allot better than the regular one.
I have had the same problems. it's always the balancing.
No one knows how to balance a F-in tire. It's rediculous.
Even if you find a hunter machine, the guy has to want to take the time to do it right, and match the tire to the rim. and once he does that, I find it's good for 6 months, and needs to be done again.
I'm at the point where I'm ready to buy my own Hunter machine !!!!
if your suspension is tight and you are attentive , you will find some vibration from any for the first 5 miles due to ''flat-spotting'' which occurs while parked...depending on brand, temps, surface, etc. flat-spotting may develope in as little as 10 minutes, but normally happens 24 hrs or more (not to be confused with flat spotting that occurs due to wear)
worn tie rod outer ends are a common problem at highway speeds.
