Default 87 Engine Wiring Harness

Hi there, I hav an 87 rag top with multiple bad spots in the engine harness. Any sugestions on a replacement?

you too!? haha.

Just do what I've been doing, track down broken wires, replace. Right now my fan keeps blowing the fusable link, that one gets tracked down tomorrow. Can't say I made it easy repinning it to use a '730 ecm, and all that, but still. It is anoying. I'm used to fbody's so I had to figure out which relay did which and all that too. The connectors are basicly pulling OUT OF the relay connector for the fuel pump, so that needs attention too.

Sometimes if the fan blows a fuseable link, the fan motor has an internal short.

Painless Wiring maybe? Don't know, but they might at least be a source for the ECM harness.

NAPA and Pep Boys carry the Weatherpak connectors - at least some of them. Pick up a the pick or tool kit too if you're going to swap any out. Makes it much easier, though with old connectors, I sometimes just crush them and slip the old terminals into a new one. I do find that soldering terminals and splices saves a lot of headaches and I'd definitely solder the terminals on anything with a high draw; ie, a fan motor.
