Default Fuel pressure settings ~ "Generally Speaking"

As a new C4 (L-98 TPI) owner, I've read/heard that these models usually benefit from the tuneability of adjustable fuel pressure regulators.

"Generally speaking" do you all seem to be adjusting the pressure HIGHER, or LOWER?

reason for asking...
I've had very good luck and results tuning other makes, whether they were naturally aspirated, supercharged, or nitroused. My car has just a few simple mods so far (open air-lid, K&N, de-screened maf, airfoil, muffler eliminators). The car "feels" just like another car I owned in the past, which was running way too lean, even from the factory, and was made even worse with some similar slightly better breathing mods like I have.

Just curious if most have to add fuel pressure, as I believe this car will benefit from?

Thanks.

It depends on what injectors people are using. If stock, then you would benefit from turning the pressure up.

But aftermarket injectors like the Ford SVO #24s most use are on the big side for a near-stock engine, so generally you turn it down a bit.

only way to really tell is to run a scan to see what the BLM's and INT's are (fuel trims). Or on a dyno.

.
sorry...should have clarified. My injectors are stock. Car felt lean even when it was still 100% stock.

RRT vette: I have access to a DynoJet, so I can dial in WOT at least. I was just curious what the "general" consensus was.

True, but at a point too low also can change the spray pattern of the injector. That is where additional tunning would be benificial.
