Default water pump not the same

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I ordered this water pump. It does not match my factory pump. The opening for the heater hose is on the top not the side. Did they send me the wrong pump?

Yes, that is the wrong waterpump. That one is for "87"-"95" GM passenger cars and is not Corvette specific. Also, it is a Long style design, The C4 Corvettes use the Short style.

I have the Stewart Stage 1 part# 13403 on my "91" Vette and it has the heater hose coming out on the side just like the original pump.

Go to www.stewartcomponents.com and order the waterpump direct from them.

The pump as listed and pictured on the Summit site is correct for a Vette ,
the one you received is obviously wrong.
