Just had my windshield replaced...as far as which company, I'm not sure of who to stay away from, HOWEVER, upon removing the weatherstriping the auto glass store bent the metal windshield holders (the ones that encircle the sides and top). Now I have to purchase these parts (approximately $45 each, along with the weatherstripping).
Supposedly, the old weatherstripping was glued to the metal retainers (a no-no). I'm pretty sure there must have been a better way to take the windshield out without costing me this much $$$
