What temp do cooling fans come on?
I have a 94 with the stock thermostat and I do not think the cooling fans are working. I let the engine run while parked in the driveway and waited for the fans to kick in, but shut it down once the temp reached 230. Are they supposed to come on at a higher temp than that :eek: or have they gone south on me? TIA

around 230 is the temp that they should come on with the a/c off. First fan will come on around 230, second fan around 238 I think.
If you turn the a/c on, one of the fans should come on. This is controlled by a switch on the high pressure line.

You could install a low temp fan switch from Mid America or Eckler's that will turn your fans on at 200. It costs $17.99 from Mid America.
