You could do it yourself with maybe 5 tools at most. Super easy. I honestly don't know price, but pads should be about $40 for fronts and the same for rear. Rotors are about $75 each.

i would think any shop that does brakes would be able to do this. the rotors may or may not need to be replaced, same goes for calipers. zip and most others sell kits to do this. scorp is right its not a hard job. on other cars i have watched as all they did was replace the pads thats it. i would think the condition of your system and depth of you wallet would be the deciding factor. robert

First find a shop you trust. Don't just walk in off the street. They don't have to be a corvette shop. Ask your friends, family etc.
Second, I always replace the rotors and pads together. Use name brands like Bendix or Raybestos. GM is way too expensive, and Aimco is junk.
Why pay $18 to cut a rotor (plus the labor) when new ones are $60?
From Discountautoparts.com assuming you don't have J55 HD brakes:
front rotors 60.00 each
front pads 90.00
rear rotors 60.00 each
rear pads 66.00
No calipers or gaskets.
Flush the brake fluid (about $8.00)
Labor $200.00 ??

Estimate $600.00 USD if you don't get ripped off.
Add sales tax for the government too ;)

Corvettes are not a cheap hobby!

Yes. Just get a good name brand.
Do you have the standard front brakes, or the HD brakes with 13" directional rotors like my car? These cost $100+ each and are left and right side specific, just like the wheels.
