Default rear leak!!!

Yesterday, I had a new set of B&B's installed on the 92 lt1 and discovered a leak of some sort on the exhaust. The leak is occurring right where the two pipes come together. Is this my differential, if not where is it comming from?

Check closely. If it is the pinion seal (where the driveshaft joins to the front of the chunk) it is easy to do. Same for the fill plug. Otherwise the chunk housing bolts up with just RTV sealer and that is a larger job.
Just don't go blowing $1K or so because you let it run out of oil. And do NOT forget the posi additive, that could cause you a chunk rebuild as well.
