Default Paging Gumpa!!!

Gumpa, I have a few question about your 3:73 gear. I do a lot of highway cruising and was wondering how they will effect my cruising. And what is your rpm range at 70-75 mph? Thank for the help.

I hope this will help. I have the 3.54 (from the group purchase) It runs 1900 at 60mph and today at 70 to 72 it was 2300 to 2400 rpm. Using one of the calculators on line I figured that the 3.73 would be 2000 at 60mph. I would have liked to have gone with the 3.73 but after talking with Justin at Zip. he convinced me to go with the 3.54 He says it will hold up better in a dana 36. The 44 conversion with 3.73 gears runs about $2100. The 36 with 3.54 runs $759 For me I couldnt justify the difference in the price. I would like to add that it dropped in gas mileage from 29 on a trip to 24. Around town its about the same. (20to 22).
