Hi

My nearly stock 86 vert runs
186 water almost all of the time 180 in last weeks 34 degree heat
between 190 and 225 oil (more dependant on revs than outside temp)

It has been like this for the 4 years I have had it, and seems fine

Barry

For engine longevity and performance on the SBCs 180 is the most desirable temp.

Although our C4s take some minor modifications to attain and maintain these temps.
