Default Very poor running - intermittently?

It runs pretty good most of the time. But on occasion, especially when at low RPM (<1500) in a higher gear, it will miss, cough and fart. I can drive around it by backing off the throttle, or downshifting to get higher revs. No codes show up.

Recently had the ECM, plugs, fuel filter, and PCV valve replaced, along with a flush of the injector system.

Its a '92, LT1, K&N filter, Flowmaster cat-back exhaust. I run Mobil 1 only, and only super unleaded gas (various brands).

I've tried a couple of times to go to the shop when its having problems, but by the time I get there its running OK again!

Please help. I know you guys have thoughts. Please share them.

I have a 92 LT1 and just spent almost $300 only to find out that the coil wire was loose.

I had replaced the plugs and wires about 3 weeks ago. Drove it about a 100 miles or so and it was running fine. Then I had difficulty getting it started and had to have it towed to a Chevy dealer. They thought that it was the opti. but since they were not a 100%, I had it towed to another shop that specializes in Corvettes and performance cars. He found the loose coil wire. Picked it up tonight and it runs fine.

Good luck
