My New Engine Is Finally Running!!!!!
I got the timing set today. I'm so Pumped!!! :D There's a good lope to the idle. It runs pretty strong, but it doesn't seem quite "right". Maybe it's running on 7. I'll pull wires 1 at a time to see what's up, tomorrow... Maybe I need a chip.. Ok, I know I do. Has anyone else swapped engines with the hood still on??? I did..

congrats! I know it's a good feeling to fire the motor up for the first time!
I swapped the motor in my '85 with the hood on, it wasn't all that hard.
