$1293.04 for Moses. How does it do on the water crossings?
I agree with these numbers.

I stand by my previous statement that they double tapped on some of the hours. That's not good. It's rather unethical, if you want my opinion.

Profit is one thing, but that is on the verge of robbery.

I agree... I thought they just did the bolts, but the ends? That's just asking for a return once the clamping bits rot out.

In my opinion thats just how it is. I know up here in Chicago, we are the home of corruption.....from city to county to state goverment, the mob's (yes, I said mob's with an apostrophie "s"), you name it. It is very cut throat up here. From how people drive to the cost of everything to just how it goes.

The only mechanic I trust to work on a car does not work on modified cars. I guess for a reason.

I hear ya, Tntcorvette, but, being a New Orleanian, the word "corruption" is hardly foreign to me I'm not trying to rag on ALL dealerships, but I guess the BAD stories are the ones that get aruond more.

Default breakdown of labor/parts

Hi guys! Ok. Sorry for the bad spelling on my part. I wasn't quite getting the question about how it does w/parting water, now I get it.. Labor was 2058.90 out of the 3993.04. They do have a 90 day/5000 mile warranty on the repairs, so we should be good for a few years I hope. Sheesh! I didn't realize oil changes on vettes were so high. We usually go to Jiffy Lube and my hubby does all brake work, etc himself, so he's not foreign to cars or anything... I guess I'll be tapping into this forum for my maintenance. I had some nice offers and I truly appreciate it! Thanks again to all! We drove the baby all weekend and put her to bed before the storm last night. I was told by about 10 kids, ranging from age 10 to 22 that I looked 'cool' and 'hot' in the car, so that more than paid for the headaches!! (I'm 37 and haven't been told that while driving a car in my entire life). I'm sure it's 99% car, 1% me. Oh well, I'll take it, it was fun.
