Default Auto trany questions......... 3 actually

Ok a few...
1) I was flushing out my trany and when I was loosening the lower conection on the radiator it twisted the line after inspection of the line it is really corroded, When I saw it start to twist I stoped and tightened it back up now it has a crinkle in it a twist actually so my big question is has anyone changed these cooler lines without having to jack up the engine ???

2) I took the car out for a run after I flushed it changed the filter and filled her up, After the trany was hot I checked the fluid level and it needed some so I added to it, Now todayafter i got her warmed up I looked at the level and it is over the normal operation level on the dipstick I wonder if it is becasue that damn line is twisted?? :(
I hope not but I am going to look at it tommorow, and see what is up check and see if there is fluid in the cooler.

3) last my trany is acting wired probably from the above problems but when I shift it in to gear after a second you can feel the trany learch like it is finaly getting in to gear almost like a big clunk then its in gear ?? Any thoughts...im not a big automatic guy but Im sure I can figure it out just looking for advice and please dont say take it to a shop there is no one in japan that I trust with this car....

Have you considered cutting the line, (with a mini tubing cutter) and replacing that section? you can get a brass union that uses compression rings for the seal.

Well that is an option but I am not in the states where I can go to any hardware store or car parts store, so if I do anything it will be to replace the entire line.

The clunk in gear is from excessive clearence caused by worn clutch paks assemblies. The fact that you notice it more is now you have clean trans fluid without a lot of fiber particles to cushion the clutch apply, as a result of changing/flushing.

Although a kink is bad if it restricts flow, the trans may not be actually running warmer if the new fluid is picking up heat better than the old and the sensor is reading the change in fluid temp.

So I take it after the fluid gets a little dirty from the clutch plates wearing I wont feel this, today When I drove it it wasent as noticable, and as for the line I know just from looking at it that it is restricting flow unless the pressure when driving is so low that it is at a trickle when i flushed it the fluid came ou in a nice steady flow but that was just at idle not at driving speed
but ill look at it as soon as this damn typhoon gets out of here
thanks
