Quick AC/Heater blower question
I still can`t find my FSM, its hiding around here somewhere.
On my `87- manual AC, blower motor, does anyone know what the part is called that is mounted with 2 screws on the left side of the blower motor, & also what the GM part# might be?. Mine has a sticker on it that reads HKR882401, but that does not seem to be a part number, according to the " techs " at AZone. They even said that they cannot order the high speed blower motor resistor for these cars anymore.

If it's on the blower housing, leeeft side facing out, it is the spark control module. Works with the anti- knock sensor. The blower control resisters are on the top right of the blower housing.

Thanks! I`ll put that baby back where I found it. I had no low fan, just high. Now no fan at all. The motor work fine if I jump it to direct 12v

UPDATE: the fan relay was clicking when I turned the switch, but I had no blower. I replaced the relay with a new one from NAPA, & sonofagun
, diden`t the sucker start working perfectly. Only $11.00- thats the cheapest fix so far
