C5 brake group puchase
I´m really interested in the deal on the C5 brakes as offered in the forum mall. However, I found out that the calipers won´t clear the stock sawblade rims on my ´94 LT1. It seems that 3/4" spacers would help. Does anybody know where I can get them? If several of us are jumping on the GP of the brakes, why not getting a GP for the spacers as well?

They have them in the mall for the September purchase for $100 off or $895 for the conversion. This only converts the front.
Is the rear the same as the C4 brake on the C5?
Do C5 brakes fit on GS rims?
Are there any differences mechanically between C5 and Z06 or is it just looks?
If we can get the price down a little more I'd be in. But at this price its real close to a front and rear Baer setup with rotors and calipers and I'd rather just go with those.

Let me start off by answering some of the questions here.
1. No the spacers are not included with the kit. You can get the spacers either from Zip Products or Vette Brakes.
2. Yes the brakes will fit with the GS wheels.
3 No the C5 and C4 rear calipers are not the same and there are no rear calipers in the kit.
4. Where did you get the price on the Baer's. The only kits & prices on them I have seen are $2500 and up.
5. If you have not seen one of these kits yet, the C5 brakes put 25% more pad on the rotor than what the ZR1 calipers do.
Great kit for the price.
