Hard Starting
My 1884 with cross fire injection will start only after cranking over for about 5 seconds. During the five second cranking period, there is spark but no fuel pumps through the injectors. As soon as I see the fuel starting to pump from the injectors, the car immediately starts. It starts the same way all of the time unless it is very hot. (maybe after it idles for a while with the air on) Then it will not start until the car sits for an hour or two until is cools down. There are no codes in the computer. I changed the fuel pump relay and fuel filter. Once the car starts it runs great.
