Blew out my cat...

I have true duals on my '86

one of the cats started rattling around, i took the pipe down and all these golf ball sized chunks came out. and its louder now

the other pipe still has its cat intact

is it ok to drive the car w/ different backpressure on one side for a few weeks till i get a new cat in there?

ive done the same, i blew up a catco hi-flow before. i was at the track and when i hit the throttle the piece would clog my flowmaster and it sounded like some one shoved a tenis ball in the exhaust. it was hillarious, but i opted to go with no cats and cut them out and drive till i could get to the muff shop and get it fixed.

yeah, there were a bunch of chunks. i looked like a real idiot walking around with 1 side of the exhaust and shaking it around for half an hour. i can only imagine what my neighbors thought, like i was mad at my exhaust or something
