Blinking dash cluster readout on 91

Blinking dash cluster readout on 91
My dash cluster readouts on my 91 are blinking on and off .Could the ecm cause this or is it the cluster itself?

The web site posted above is for 84-89. rcr103 has a 91.
When you say it blinks, are you saying the LCD display completely blanks out then comes back to life. Or does it just dims alittle and gets bright again.
My 91 dims then gets bright then dims again. I don’t know what the problem is on mine. I am thinking it is a bad ground. Sorry I can’t help but I will bump this post because I am curious.

My 89 coupe had a flickering in the dash a few months ago I changed my battery (it had not failed yet just a little PM) while I had the battery out I could see a terminal that grounded to the frame and it had corroded so I cleaned it and the screw/bolt and added some copper coat and the flickering is gone now!
