Steve40th, 10:1 compression might be a bit high for good boost. You could employ some efficient intercooling, along with some water/alcohol injection to combat the chance of detonation.

If you want to supercharge a vette, the only kit i would trust would be http://www.carrollsupercharging.com also, call them up, they are very friendly and resourceful.

Okay, if I had JE pistons, 10-1 comp, H-Beam rods and a stck LT-1 crank, can it handle, "the bottom end" 10 PSI? Steve
If it's intercooled and the timing is done right, you could probably squeeze a little more than that. Really depends on how much horsepower the car makes N/A. You really don't want to corkscrew a crankshaft.

Steve,
Ran a nearly stock short block 350 ci motor with 11.2:1 with a P-600B for several years. If the timing and fuel curves are right along with proper assembly techniques on the engine, I would say you can make it work.
Just because you can make it work does not mean it is the best combination. My new motor is set with 9.5:1 and much of the same attention to detail. I will again be running a blower with N2O.
Good Luck,
Aaron
