Early C4 cracking?

Does anyone have pictures of the difference between the early and the late frames that demonstrate what GM did to fix the issue?

what year?

I don't think the mods were to the frame, as much as they were to the components that were failing... more metal in the firewall, and more structure at the b-pillar.

There were additional frame braces added. We've seen diagrams posted before, but the search sucks and I can't find them. Best I found was this thread referencing when the changes happened:

FWIW, on the Z51 chassis bracing, (theres a pic floating around showing the parts painted white) every base Corvette I've looked at had those as well, including two 86's.

My 84 (non Z51) does not look like that.

The frame is only the black part on mine and the / \ bars only have one bolt at the rear.

The bar at the front does not have that much reinforcements to the frame and it is also not that thick.
