Pacesetters are the 'Hedmans' of shorties. If you're going to bother with anything, why not just go with long tubes? The shorties really won't gain you anything, performance-wise. Check the C4 general section sticky on the GP for Stainless Works headers and other exhaust components. You won't find a better or longer lasting header than high grade 304 stainless.
Thinking About Buying Shorties For My 94 . I Started Looking At Summit Are Pace Setter Any Good 4 The Price?? Any Sugestions??
If you are on a budget I would consider Hedman coated as the absolute minimum standard. If you can afford more there are lots of options including stainlessworks being one of the nicest I have seen.
When I looked on the Hedman site, I didn't see shorties or any headers for 1992 and up.
RACE ON!!!
CFI, I just looked and I didn't see one either. Looks like Hedman may stop at 1991. I have them on my 1984 and for the money they are actually a decent header. They are obviously not high end headers but the price they charge is very fair for what you get.

They've never offered an LT1 header. Although they'll fit, they'll block the top of the raised D-ports. Not a good thing.
