digital dash needs help!!
i have a 92 that plays a rotten trick on me... the digital part of the dash cluster gives me jumbled up krap, goes blank completely, or flashes "SYS" at me when it chooses to work. if i give it a good whap in that 'lil valley on top of the dash, it comes back sometimes. some1 told me its the connection from that digital screen to the car that isn't making contact. what i don't understand is how to get that plastic "bezel" piece out so i can take the gauges out. the ignition switch and tilt steering stick are in the way...what is the trick???

Do not whap your dash. You will end up breaking some thing could be your hand. The tilt stick should screw out I do not think you need to pull the ignition to get the dash out. Sounds like a bad ground.
