One of our dealerships took in a 95 Corvette on trade.
Whenever you move the keys around it (with remote), the car unlocks.
Did the 95 have an available PKE system? If so, how do you disable it?
There is no switch on the key like there is on my dad's 98, and I don't know anything about C4 alarms.
Also, the car locks itself after a very short period of time (between 15 and 30 seconds, I didn't count). Is this a normal feature or is something wrong with the alarm?
It does not matter whether the keys are in it or not, it will lock.
Do a search here on the forum for PKE, and you will probably find more than your wanted to know. From the way it sounds it is functioning normally, but you can program it for different modes of operation.
From what I remember holding the door lock button down for over 2 seconds (until the locks cycle) should disable PKE. That should stop the symptoms you describe. Holding the same button for 2 seconds again (until locks cycle) will re-enable PKE hope that helps.

yes. (standard equipment)

If it's the stock PKE you hold the button (on the fob) down until the locks cycle. PKE instructions are in the owners manual.

That is pretty much the definition of PKE.
I never use the PKE it's a PITA. One of these days I'll get around to putting a non-passive KE system on it.
