Put a Corsa cat back system on my '96 LT4 today and it sounds as sweet as apple pie. I love the low growl and definitely feel a bit more low end. Took about four hours to take the old one off and install the new one, which included going to the NAPA for a new O2 sensor because I could not get the old one out without stripping the nut. The new one probably helped the car anyway.

I am amazed at the condition of this car. Every factory chalk mark and sticker is still on this car and it's very clean underneath.

I'll post a couple of before and after pics later.

Does an LT4 car really need a Corsa catback? The factory system already has an H pipe. Probably the thing that was most worth the time was the mufflers.

Love to see the pics! Glad to hear it went on so smoothly, if not quickly.

I've been thinking about different mufflers just on the rear. Could make a nice difference without the whole shebang of a catback. No detraction however to the catback Corsa, an excellent system.

Four hours is great for a first time R&R of the exhaust that includes removal of the stock stuff, which can be a major variable. I haven't heard of anyone who didn't like the Corsa system. Hopefully I should be getting some of their stuff to play with real soon. That will make three exhaust systems that I have to suit my mood.

I've restored a two cars in the last four years so I've got a little experience under. Infact just replaced the exhaust on my '68 Camaro about three weeks ago. That one was done on jack stands. This time I had the use of a lift which really made it easy.

The factory H pipe is after the front muffler and the Corsa system is before. Corsa claims a 42% flow increase.

I think there must have been a dead frog in the old system because I can defintely feel more power with this exhaust. No doubt it weighs less to.
