I ran the car with the valve covers off... I noticed that when you turn the car off, the lifters bleed down within 5 or 10 seconds.. every single one of them. Does anyone have any ideas?
Spring pressure is about 375

Hydraulic lifters ride on a bed oil provided by the engine and are assisteed by a spring. Depending on how yours adjusted, you may very well be able see them bleed right down after the oil pressure goes away. There are many books out there that have a procedure on how to adjust valves if you've never done it before, it might be a good idea to reset them.

Thats perfectly normal. I assume your spring pressure is open spec is for open press.
the problem i'm running into is that they won't take an adjustment - they all just keep on making noise and i get a sputtering sound out of the tailpipes (true duals)
