Took out Dads chevelle this weekend for some racing at Keystone. Still waiting for DFI to fix my computer....been in there most all of this season....for some reason it keeps blowing the one capacitor, so my entire season has been screwed for racing.

Therefore I have been running Dads car most of the time.

First two runs were 9.72@136mph. 1.35, 1.33 60' times.

Here are the videos, I know some of you guys like to see the car run....man is it AWESOME to drive that thing. For something that is that NOSE heavy it just launches like its feather light. Feels like your floating in mid air - and it sure is hauling the mail at the top end.

Second time trial, the batteries went completely dead. Got it running in the nick of time and made a pass. 10.72 both first and second time trials on nearly dead batteries...Got back to the pits and found the alternator died. Was barely putting out enough to let the car run on those runs...about 11.8v. MSD likes to have at least 14volts at high rpms. So we charged the battery with another vehicle before the first round.

I got out there with a 9.71 dial...cut a PERFECT REACTION time .000 and wound up friggin breaking out with a 9.68 trying to slow it down! I would say the alternator not working was hoggin some power ;(
