Jake,

Glad you like it as much as most of us do! Just be mindful of that AFPR issue I had last summer when the attaching bolt worked it's way out, the FPR came off the rail and hosed down my engine bay with gas! 50# of fuel pressure makes the gas shower really messy & dangerous! I locktighted the bolt plus used tie wraps as a backup on the FPR.

JD,

I've got the info somewhere at home, I'll look tonight but I found it on the net.

Absolutely NO LOSS in off idle throttle response, in fact the throttle response has improved noticably over the extensively ported big tube runners, ported plenum and base that I had been running.
Who's have thunk it?!
Part of the performance improvements have to go to Alvin Anderson at PCMFORLESS for re-burning my PROM to accomodate the new MiniRam's abilities.
I can't comment on those with installed a MiniRam on a 350, but on a 415, like mine, it's a match made in heaven.
I only wish I'd made the swap sooner!.Jake
Glad the install went well!
On this board the mini seemed to get a bad "rep". I do think getting the VE, timing etc. is very important to gaining efficiency/performance.
It works just fine on a 350 and is a good set-up in every-way (not to mention maintenance friendly). The low end is just fine, even now when testing/tuning I can't put it down going slower than 25mph. due to wheel spin, this is was still with the 3.07 gear. I am sure it works just fine on a bigger inch motor and will be on my new bullet.

OUCH !!! Good heads up, and I will add that on the check list !

more grunt/revs than the ported large runners, plenum, intake?

Hi, Glen. Yep, that was the point I was trying to make. There is no downside to the performance of the MiniRam on my engine. The installation had a few hiccups (which I already listed) but I couldn't be happier with the end result.

Remember, though, it's not just the MiniRam, but - instead - the combination of specs a particular engine has. the FOUR "C"s come to mind: Cubic Inch Displacement, Cylinder heads, Camshaft and Compression.

Yea they do, from a bunch of maroons that have never run a mini.
People act like putting a mini on a Torque monster L98 is sooo different than a LT1 motor. DUH.

Jake, have you dynoed the motor with the LTRunner setup and do you plan to dyno this setup?

Nope, I've never dynoed the engine and probably won't. It's a daily driver that I use all the way from carrying lumber from Home Depot to driving cross country to visit relatives.

The actual power numbers never really interested me. In choosing the parts, as I was building the engine, I wanted an engine that was drop-dead reliable, so I opted not to push the envelope too much.

Advanced age probably has something to do with it, too. LOL

My ragtop is a lumber hauler too. I did dyno it because I wanted to see how fast I could get the 2x4s home.

In this pic, which line goes to the FP regulator, and which line goes to the fuel rail on the passenger side.

In this pic looking at the stock line coming up from the block, the one closest to you is going to the FP regulater.
