Speedometer / Odometer Problem & Turn Signal Indicators
While I am working on resolving the code 44 (Lean O2), I am also trying to figure out how to solve my speedometer problem. I expect to pick up a new VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) tomorrow, but in the meantime, after reading the first 17 pages of Threads, I realize that a couple of people have had a similar problem of an intermittent speedometer and didn't really have a resolution to this problem. My car does set a code 24, so I am hoping that it is the VSS (I had no speedo, then after fooling around with the connector at the VSS, I will get an MPH reading for a few seconds before it will go back to zero - while driving from a stop).
My other question has to do with the turn signal indicators on the dashboard being illuminated whenever the parking lights or headlights are turned on. All exterior lights and bulbs are working properly including the turn signals and the hazard warning lights. Has anybody experienced this before?
