parking light problems

parking light problems

hey i just started my vette last night for the first time in a few months. the only problems that it seams to have different is the parking lights stay on. the lights come on when i turn the switch to trun them on but there is no way to turn them off. it just runs the battery right back down. what can i do???

so when you turn the headlights on, the paking lights come on, as they should. but when you turn headlights off, parking lights stay on? I am kinda leaning toward a relay.

Always include the year vette you are asking help for! Parking lights get power through the headlight switch, and no relay is involved. You have a defective headlight switch.
