However this post was made because as i was slowing down and hit the brakes my steering wheel started shakin real bad. Doesn't happen at lower speed i guess up to 70 u can say. I only also have an annoying squel type noise comming from my rear left wheel (This has been happening for a long TIME). What could it be?
Thanks for the help.
O and I forgot to mention the annoying sound from the back happens even when I don't press the brakes. So pretty much all teh time but as you start getting higher speeds you can't notice, but its still there!
yup, new rotors and pads all the way around will more than likely cure it. maybe even time for a C5 brake upgrade while you are changing brakes anyway.
But my car came with the J55 brakes, zr-1 brakes. I really am not goin to change the rims yet so is it really worth changing out the whole system to a c5 one. Car is a 1995.
Also will new rotors and pads really stop the squealing noise that occurs without me even pressing the brakes?
You just may need to rebed your pads (progressively heat them up a few times). I wouldn't upgrade the brakes, at most do a fluid flush, new pads, and rotors. If you start open tracking the car, then think about the upgraded components.

No and I don't know. I would start out by buying some brake cleaner and thoroughly cleaning the brake rotors.
I say before you 'go for it', you should take a better look at your brakes and suspension for the squeeks and vibration your feeling. If you dont care about yourself, maybe you should think about other people on the road. You should also realize anyone can pull this tread up and read how your car is shaking at high speeds, and you still drive in this dangerious maner. Then they will sue the crap out of you, or your serviving family.
Do it several times a weekend with mine at the strip. There should be no vibrations, sometimes I skid the front tires crossing the line to slow down (trying not to break out), and this is with all stock brake components. The rotors and pads have been changed. Last year my rotors had large cracks form in them! Still no vibrations.......
Might want to check everything out real good. And not to be a smart-azz, but don't do these speeds on the street - my family is out there. Go to a track and let her eat!
OK, but if something happen to him going fast in that car, I don't think it would be that much of the stretch in court to pull up his post and put 2 and 2 together.

the squeeling noise could be a worn pad, you might want to check them out. jut pop a rim off and see how wore out the pad is. Even with low miles, you can wear pads out quick with aggressive driving.
I have EBC Sport dimpled/slotted rotors up front and oem replacement Brembo's in the back, with hawk carbon pads all around. Night and day difference when I replaced the rotors and pads. Smooth braking. Stops on a dime.
