I posted a while back about a strange alien-being-torn-up-by-a-blender sound coming from the rear of my 92. Well now it happens all-the-freakin-time. It is coming from my back speakers. I turned my back speakers off and it stopped, some of the time. It still makes the sound coming from them sometimes. I took the speakers and amp out. Everything looks to be fine, no loose connections or anything. The next step will be replacing the amps, thats all I can think of.
Any other ideas???
Anyone ever have this problem??
Man......seems like a common problem heh! Well it is and I have been bit by that alien also! Although my alien multiplied recently. Now I have two of them!
I am trying to find replacements from Mr. CJ, the preverbial junkyard warrior. The local amp shop will cost about $60 an amp. New ones from Ecklers...ah just a cool $100 per amp.
Try ebay?? Worth a shot also!
We might bid against each other!

BOSE
I've had the same problem and now have the 2 speaker Bose stereo. The amp has a transistor or two with either bad solder joints or the transistor itself is bad. You can get replacement amps for $140 or I have heard that you can send them straight to Bose and they will repair them. You go to Bose supports web site to get the instructions on sending them in. I heard someone did this and it was $65 each to have all four inspected and or repaired.
