Default No start problem.

I took my 95 six speed to lunch today, and when I went to leave it wouldn't start. The car had power to all accessorys, good batt. just would not make a peep when I tried the starter. No click or anything. It also would not start by pushing. I had it towed home and will look at it this evening. I'm looking for suggestions on what to look at first.

In no particular order...

VATS, can't read your key.

Clutch Switch, can't start the car without this switch closing.

VATS starter interrupt relay, dirty realy contacts or voltage problem to the coil.

Starter itself, bad soleniod, dirty connections?

Ignition switch, just went bad.

Could be other things but I'd start with those.

Thanks for the advice. I have now checked most of these. I am beginning to suspect my theft deterrent sys. The car tried to start when we pushed it, fired up and then died. It was what I would I would think would happen when the fuel shutoff was activated.
I read my fact. repair manuel on the system and am still looking through it. I think this is my problem. Now, what would go out , and how would it act when it did?
I put my code reader on it and it showed all systems fine, no problems. Other than it won't start. Should it show a code?
Any help from someone who might have had this problem will be appreciated.

Default no start

do you have a 12 v test lite? if not get one! Go to signel wire at starter do you have 12V when key is in start pos. if yes bad starter. If no then problem is in ing. sw. or sec. sws. or clutch sw. You can find wire hot only in start use a relay and push butten sw. for a temp. fix. email me at joec44@verizon.net with phone no.
I will call and talk joe tucci
