Default simple gasket question

I'm a real newbie that's been involved with changing my fuel injectors on my 90 (went with Ford "pink tops" from 5-O; guess this might have been a mistake! At least they look new). Everything going well with excellent help from samlam, a forum member. My simple question is this: do I need to use gasket sealer on the gaskets that fit between the runners and the plenum? No sealer was used previously (no doubt about this). I tried to use some but made a real mess (used too much?)Everything cleaned up and ready to try again.

Thanks for your help!
