Default Needs help/car floods in rain

I am having a problem with my 87 convert. i have water coming in on the P/S fire wall when it rains(not heater core). I have may carpet pulled back so it is not damaged, however i need to find problem ASAP. thanks for your help.

There is a cowl drain that allows the water to flow out the bottom of the cowl area. Thses drains are famous for pluging up with all sorts of crud. The water will then fill up the cowl area and find any seam or passage into the car. I usually attack these from the underside and try to clean them out with a wire. I would caution you against trying to push a wire from above down. Sometimes you can end up pushing the drain tube off and it is really hard to impossible to reattach once you push it off. :crazy:

sounds like the drain to me as well as the weatherstrip .........clean and or replace..... :crazy: :smash:
