A-Pilar Weatherstrip question
I am replacing the A-Pillar w/s and have a couple of questions. I have the old w/s out and the two side retainers, the two side reveal mouldings and the top retainer/reveal moulding out and cleaned of the old w/s. It appears that the previous installation used a combination of glazing and bedding compound and foam tape in a somewhat random pattern.
I have the bedding compound and I have some foam tape but it is only 1/2" wide. Should the foam tape go between the reveal moulding and the car and between the w/s retainer and the reveal moulding and the bedding compound just is for the corners or can I put the bedding compound between the retainer and the reveal moulding and the car (w/s frame)?

Test fit it first, more people screw up the a-pillar installation, I just used3m adhesive and mine does not leak. Start on the top first, dosn't matter what side and then after you have the top side on, then go down the pillars.

PS - Do not be afraid to pull it back up and put it on again, you can do this so long as the adhesive is not set.
