Replacing Air Conditioning Controller on Dash - How to Remove?
On my 1996 I am going to replace my Air Conditioner Controller which is located above the radio on the dash. The controller is the unit with all the buttons (vent, heat, etc.). I don't see too many screws around that area on the dash that I might remove in order to get to the unit. Has anyone had any experience with removing their controller? I am told that it is really quite simple to replace the unit as they just unplug, but first I must get to it somehow. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You will have to start with the center console, lift up the arm rest and there are two screws you need to remove. There is also one in the cup holder area. Just work slowly and do not force anything. :reddevil You will have to disconnect the cigarette lighter and unscrew the four screws that hold the leather boot to the center console. From there you just keep working forward. The center a/c vent will have to be remove, I believe there are two screws the hold it in place on each side. It is not hard just take you time. :D
