'94/six speed/ stock LT1. I have a vibration at speeds above 68 mph+. all wheels have been balanced. vibration stays about the same the faster you go. vibration doesn't feel like it's in the front tires.I thought i read in the forum that the drive shafts are out of balance? If yes on the drive shafts/ who in Houston can do same? thanks for all the advice...i've learned a lot.
Try Rear Brake Rotors Before Drive Shaft. They Are Easily Warped And Will Cause That Type Of Vibration .. Just Because The Tires Are Ballanced Dosent Mean They Are Not Out Of Round.. Find A Hunter Road Force Balancer They Are The Best Although My One Tire Was Balanced It Was Pushing 80 Lbs Of Road Force Because The Tire Was Egg Shaped.....

Check all four of your rims inside and out. Look for a wheel that has a lot more weight than the others. They may have put it on the back of the car. If you find one like that it may be your bad boy. It sounds like a static out of balance condition. Probably not an out of round condition. Usually that gets worse the faster you go.

I'll put my money on your U-joints. Had the same thing happen to my 86. Replaced all the U-joints and problem disappeared
Mine does the vibration at upper 60's mph, and above. Only when you accelerate easily. Accell hard and no vibration. 92 LT1 82k a/t. Feels like tranny.?? Shifts well, mech said ujoints ok.
