Going to the drags next weekend and looking for my best times. How much of an improvement could I expect from removing the front sway bar and is it much of a job????
Fred,
I gained nothing. I continue to run the stock front (30mm) sway bar. Best 60" is a 1.505. It is certainly worth a try. Do not remove the end link bolts and lift up swaybar. It will hit the rims when you turn. You must completely remove it from the car to be safe. Takes about 1/2 hr to do. Not terribly hard.
Thanks Pete sounds like more trouble than it is worth. I think I'll just remove the spare. I guess the good tranny is sold??? Are you building any more before the snow flies.

Fred,
I have not officially "sealed the deal" with Steve, but is likely going to him.Unless he changes his mind, it has his name on it. I absolutely plan to build a few of these in the near future. There seems to be an interest, so I am happy to do it.
