Default Headlight problems

Hi all, I'll cut right to the chase: my '89 has SCREWY headlights. Sometimes they'll both come up. Sometimes, they'll come up and one won't work (or both, at times). And I've also noticed that the left one will come up half of the way and just stay that way...needless to say it looks ridiculous.

Should I get some new lights? And if so, where can i find them and how much will they be? Thanks a lot.

No, it's probably your Delrin bushings. They eventually grind to podwer and have to be replaced. Order them online from Eckler's, Mid-America Motorworks or Corvette Central.

Read this article while the parts are on order. There's also a good article in the TechTips section on this Forum, too.

Definitely the bushings. I like the step by step directions on this link plus the color pics.
