91 l98 will not idel
Hi I am back agian with this same car it is always something
just scared to drive it
ok specs the car has about 2000 miles on the rebuild bored .03 over
roller rockers comp cam xr264hr-12
so been fighting this and had it to many shops and replaced alot of parts that didnt need
then came here and you guys got it up and running for me
the injectors was bad
then the vats went bad
but it did run for some time now it will not idel on its own
give it some gas it runs great
fuel at the line is 42 lbs and dont look to leak down at all
no codes to be found
the sensor at the air intake is unhooked at the other end and burnt off
I dont know where this goes [from the filter tooo]
gas milage has went to 10 was over 20 ox senser wires on
plug wire look to be ok looked for vac leaks scan tool said it was retarded to 13 and running lean
injectors are 21lb

So the timing is retarded 13* at idle? Have you set your timing with the EST disconnected. What voltage did the scan tool show the TPS at? "the sensor at the air intake is unhooked at the other end and burnt off"..is this the MAF?

When our stock '91 failed to idle one day (still under warantee), we took it in for service and the dealer changed the idle Air Control (IAC). Fixed the problem right up.
Like yours, it ran fine with any amount of gas, but just would not idle as it kept dieing.
